7 Reasons You Have to Visit Bandung, Indonesia

Bandung, Indonesia is the perfect place in the world to take in nature at it’s breathtaking best. Bandung is the capital of Indonesia’s West Java province. It is a beautiful city surrounded by tea plantations and volcanos.  It’s known for it’s stunning colonial and art deco architecture, a lively, university-town feel and – thanks to its 768m elevation – relatively cool tropical weather. Bandung is also a shopping destination, featuring many malls and shopping outlets.

2. Waterfalls Nungnung waterfall is beautiful waterfall in bali that located in Bandung Regency about 50 km from Denpasar. This waterfall is surrounded by beautiful scenery. Nungnung Waterfall is great for visitors who love hiking because on your way to the waterfall you will pass by green hilly rice fields, and farmers and inevitably stairs to the valley to be able to see the waterfalls.

3. Amazing hotels There are many fantastic hotels in Bandung. For example the glamorous Trans Luxury Hotel is the perfect place to explore the city from. They are known for their helpful stuff and close proximity to several attractions and landmarks such as Flower Market, Bandung Electronic Centre – BEC, and Bandung Electronic Centre.

4. Shopping There are a plethora of factory outlets to be found around the town, especially along Jalan Riau. It is best known for its factory outlets – there are so many choices! You’ll want to wear comfortable shoes, as one can spend up to half a day walking from outlet to outlet along the street. During the week there is less of a crowd. Located on Jalan Setiabudi, Rumah Mode is on of the most awesome places to shop! It’s well organized with a wide variety of clothes of various brands such as Burberry, Abercrombie & Fitch, Zara, Paul Frank etc.  Paris Van Java or PVJ has over 5,000 square meters of middle range shopping in Bandung Indonesia, Paris Van Java is an elegantly furnished shopping mall for both locals and tourists alike.

5. Theme restaurants If you’re hungry, there are many theme restaurants in Bandung. Overall, it’s a fantastic place for an interesting meal and some window shopping. The interior of Nanny Pavillon is a sweet eye candy with its pretty furniture and cute interior. Captain’s seafood is a sea themed restaurant where the friendly service crew is decked in classic sailor wear. Little Wings Book Café unique decorations plastered all over the walls. IMG_58536. Puputan Badung Square  This is the city’s central park. A statue commemorates a heroic moment in the battle of 1906. It is the location for many of Bali’s pageants and processions. Nyepi and the opening ceremony of The Bali Arts Festival is held around this square. One of Bali’s oldest temples Puri Jaganatha and the Museum of Bali are on one side of this square.

7. Bandung Indah Waterpark This is a fun waterpark to visit with many pools, a variety of slides and many other fun activities. It’s the perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day.
