Why Colorado is the Ultimate Winter Destination

Colorado Winter SnowboardI gravitate to warmer climates having grown up in Maine with some pretty brutal winters. However I have found that choosing to visit cold destinations is much funner for me than living in one. My good friend Justin Kalvin AKA “Kalvin” joined me as my snowy adventure photographer!

He was so patient with me, fun and is fantastic at snowboarding! Definitely request him if you visit Winter Park Resort.BlogNewFinals-002I fell a lot but I had the time of my life when I got the hang of gliding down the mountain.IMG_4082Getting on and off the chairlift was a challenge, I liked the scenery on the way up!IMG_3996This was my first time boarding through a forest.IMG_4264Our instructor Will snowboarding much better than me!

It’s great you had such a fun time in Colorado. I lived there for several years, but never got the opportunity to do any winter sports or visit winter towns because of price. I have snowboarded and I know it is very hard! I don’t know about you, but I was sore everywhere the next day!
