Venice was everything I had imagined. The colorful buildings appear to just rise out of the water. The Rialto apartment from Only-apartments that my friend Gabe and I stayed in was at the heart of everything. The apartment was very modern, featured a full kitchen, two bedrooms, laundry, air conditioning, spacious living room, fast WIFI, huge bathroom and a beautiful rooftop overlooking the city. We even invited some friends to share a bottle of wine on the rooftop, it’s the perfect spot to watch the sun set over Venice. It was a short walk to the fruit and vegetable market, many tasty restaurants, St. Marks Square and the Rialto vaporetto(Venice’s system of water busses). Staying here was the perfect location to truly experience life in Venice.
