Cuenca is the third largest city and Ecuador but when you are in the old part of Cuenca it has the feel of a small walkable ancient town. Cuenca is 8,200 ft above sea level and believed to have been founded in 500 AD. With it’s stunning landscapes and beautiful architecture UNESCO has named Cuenca a World Heritage city.
