My three day sailing trip with my friend Gladys along the coast of Belize led by Raggamuffin Tours was beyond anything I ever could have imagined. On day one the sun shined and we sailed to a remote beautiful slice of paradise-Rendezvous Caye and snorkeled in the crystal clear waters along the reef on the way. My photos do not begin to do justice to all of the colorful sea life we encountered snorkeling.
The entirely local crew was fun and accommodating. I enjoyed being on the boat listening to music, meeting the other guests and reading my kindle. We could even help with sailing and learn about the sailing gear if we were interested! There we plenty of snacks and the meals were huge and delicious! When we arrived on Rendevous Caye the crew helped us set up tents before dinner. The crew prepared the seafood catches of the day for the most tasty dinners-we had shrimp, conch, lobster and tons of fresh seasoned fish! The stars were incredible as was seeing the sunrise in the morning. I would do this sailing tour again in a heartbeat!
